When you attend a handbell concert you find yourself uplifted, inspired, and happy. After all, it is the most unique experience you’ll encounter with live music. But many don’t realize that being a handbell choir member takes a lot of time, practice, and dedication. It’s a team experience where everyone is needed and vital to every musical selection.
Today, I decided to visit Granite State Ringers in the middle of an all day practice. The group was split up into three groups in different parts of Wesley United Methodist Church. Each room had a different focus on musical technique. Here then, is a small audio snippet of some of their hard work….
